Ok I have three problems with DotP. Number one: no Planeswalkers
Number two: the inability to fix your basic mana
Number three: the inability to construct your own deck out of the cards available.
All of those things require a lot of work. Dual of Planeswalkers is like Madden. They update the rosters every year.
For $14 or whatever the game costs vs. Loss in paper card sales and loss in MTGO revenue.
They want you to collect the real thing.
I was just ticked of at the challenges cuz you aint allowed to have more than 4 of a kind in your deck! Cheating bastards :P
My main problem is the inability to unlock cards on one Platform and have them unlocked on your others. There could be an email verification for this.

this
Also, this is their gateway drug into the world of MtG. They are trying to keep it simple so that new players can pick it up easily. Building a good deck and mana fixing are very hard to do for a beginner so here they take care of it for you.
Id like to see PWs too, but I don't know if they are worth the added complexity.
While I can see your points on most things. I believe they should have PW because new MtG players need to see them and how to interact with them. If they can learn about exalted and the stack then they can learn about PW.
I agree they need to be introduced to certain things, but the game also auto-manages tricky stuff like the stack and exalted (which is not that tricky with the card pool in DotP13)
I would love to see PWs too, but as mythic rares, they aren't going to come across them all that often. And when they DO, theyll be like WTF!?! This thing be crazy! I'd better find out how to work this thing.
I agree my Master. My only hope is to be as wise as you when I graduate from padawan.

I just call'em as I see 'em. I'm not always right, I just talk like I am. ;)

I do love that they finally allow you to decide WHICH lands to tap for a given cost...
How?!??! I've been trying to figure this out on my Xbox360 for awhile

On PS3, you push down on the stick (R3).
One of the challenges with the Phyrexian Obliterator is impossible to do without it.
On the iPad you click on the card again and it changes the mana combo
I've been running into bad lag and DISSAPEARING cards lately in iPad multiplayer. I thought I was going to kill swing and all of a sudden 2 fog banks appeared from nowhere and well, I lost lol. Also randomly when an opponent plays global enchants, sometimes they also are not in my view. Pretty game changing at times. Blarg
I really hate that you can't add/ remove basic lands. They seem to add a ton of lands and then I get mana screwed every other game. I have a 62-64 card deck, too....

I've found 75 ish cards works best personally
I stick with the standard 60. Remove all the mediocre cards and replace them for better ones.
61 is perfect for low mana curve decks. 75 seems perfect in the 100s of play tests I've done with heavier decks. I run 75 range with goblins and have had more success than 60's range
This would be mostly moot if they gave us dualies, and option for our own land decisions :(
Wouldn't say its a game breaking problem, but while doing the infinite combo with the Crosswind deck, it will not create more than 100 of a token (Archeomancers and Drake Tokens). Still, 100 4/4 Drakes shouldn't even need to happen in order to win.
Yea I notice that they put a cap on tokens too, playing goblins. It made me sad, I wanted a thousand. But ohwell
More of a game center problem, but would be nice to see if any of my friends were currently active so we can challenge... Lol

There's an infinite combo lurking in DotP13? I'm listening... :)

Its a bit mana heavy ({Fog Bank}s are great at stalling, at least against the AI). Having {Talrand, the Sky Summoner} out helps as well.
Anyways, abuse {Time Warp} with either {Panoptic Mirror}, {Archaeomancer} and {Rites of Replication}, or an Archaeomancer with {Followed Footsteps}.
If you run multiple Time Warps, you can opt to use {Bribery} to steal thier creature every other turn (note how this works amazingly against Ajani if his {Archon of Redemption} is still in his library). {Disperse} is nice to clear the opponent's field. In the end, you will end up with 100 Drakes (each 2/2 or more if you run {Favorable Wind}) and possibly a bunch of Archaeomancers or whatever you kicked Rites of Replication on.
I'm sure there are more stuff amongst other decks, but I have mostly been using Talrand's Crosswind through Planechase just to run those interactions.

They need to fix the {Deathbringer Liege}. When you play a {B}{W} spell, he tries to destroy target tapped creature before tapping target creature, which defeats the whole point of him.
Oops! It's supposed to go in the order on the card. That sux. :(
I thought the same thing at first too, then was happy seeing it work as intended :)
Yeah, looking at the wording of the ability "if it's tapped" instead of "target tapped creature" means it'll work the way you think it should. *whew*
Anyone come across problems with playing instants on your own turn, especially in the combat phase?
Aww MAN do I ever hate it when I fully plan on doing something then the game freezes for a Sec and then skips over my chance. 😡

No problems on my end; as long the spell has a legal target and you have priority (and correct amount of mana), it works. Occasionally the time table goes by quick, but that's my fault for playing with hold priority off. If by combat you meant during declaration of attacker/blockers, you cannot cast spells until the phase transitioning to and from it.

Yes! Especially when they play a foiled card; it stutters for a second and I cannot respond with a counter. So secretly, foil cards cannot be countered by me... until I turn off the feature, lol.

At least they seem to have gotten rid of the bug from older versions of DOTP. I remember people who would activate abilities (like firebreathing) during your turn for apparently no reason. It would cause the game to push to the next phase, which means no lands and no sorceries/creatures/artifacts/enchantments.
Douchebags.

PS3 does NOT like remote controls. 😓
I have the remote control for the PS3 turned on when I started up DotP13 and it wouldn't let me get passed the opening screen. I had to turn off the remote completely and reset the game.

Oh wow. Lol frankly I didn't even know people used the remote. Controller works great
Of topic, but yeah. It came with the PS3 when I got it. Works great for us, 'cause we use our PS3 for lots of movies and Nextflix.

Lol fair enough
Simple problem for me, I would like to be able to do end of turn stuff, but the game just skips right past it. :(
Turn on hold priority. There's like 4 seconds where you can pause and play stuff.
I've noticed it'll just end the turn if you have not possible actions.

Anyone have problems joining an invite? Usually (if it isn't the first session I've played since the last reset) I have to restart DOTP or it will just go to the main menu when I accept the invite.
No "failed to join session," no "joining...," just goes to the main menu.
When I reset and join a new invite, it works.
Yea, don't even get me started with the issues of the multiplayer portion of the game. In a word? Junk. Implemented very poorly. It drives me insane

It's turned on, but right after their second main phase it ends before I can do anything and then starts my untap/upkeep
