First off, I only play with friends so there is no need to worry about legalities or types. My question is this, do you guys/gals think a {Necropotence} deck could be viable in multiplayer against today's cards?
Lord here we go....
Yes.

Not looking for anyone to "build" the deck. Just curious what others think. I have all the cards to make a 96-era Necro.
It wasn't that. It was the fact that most people on here are "necro enthusiasts". Lmao. And you are not the first person to bring up this topic so doN'T worry.
Edit: 😝
Do worry? Haha
Let's just say that the sheer brokenness of Necropotence has not deminished over the years.

Tip: It's a card that you should either slam down on turn 3 or late game. Dont do this midgame.

Yes.
This. Flat out yes. Plus, Mr. {Vampire Nocturnus} will <3 you.
I used to have a Necro deck back in "Black Summer" but have not played around with the idea since I first quite playing. It was a completely random thought.

Why's that?
Because you can control the top card of you library at instant speed.

So good. Plus you can see your top card so you know your draws. AND if you happen to be in dominating board position, you can just stop drawing and leave that black card there for a never ending bonus.
Holy $&@€! I have to go buy some cards now..

Dude, {necropotence} is probably one of the best cards ever printed. You could literally throw it into anything with black and it would just make simply make everything better.
except suicide black decks.
