This is the question I've been asking; is a big creature necessary as a finisher in an exalted deck like day a skittles? Or does it work just fine with the small creatures and the relentless punishment?

Trying to trade for chapels
Very easy to stop.

How so? No one was able too at FNM
Removal pretty much shut it down at mine.
Must not have been playing it right, I was getting consistent T4-T5 wins.
Exalted is pretty cool. I don't know how I feel about a deck that relies on it. Maybe trying Esper variant with {Invisible Stalker}
It must be your meta.
Or my deck.
Some of the consistent 1st place winners played the different exalted decks.
{Bonfire} just shut it all down.
Pretty hard to win with no creatures on the board when you have no burn.
Even got hit with whatever they are calling wrath now, had side boarded in the white spell for 3W that brough everything back and swung for game. Held off a really fast green beats deck past T10.
You got really lucky i would say.
GG though.

I'll grab my deck real quick and did the spell {faith's reward}.

Not sure how you could swing for lethal that turn with your creatures having summoning sickness and all.
Not luck, it was a knock down, drag out fight, Orings and {pacifism} for his big nasties, he ended up swinging in with a {rancor}Ed {bird of paradise} as his striker. {mark or the vampire} saved me.
Lol ok.

Not really, especially once the archangel drops, the little guys get nasty quick. With both pro white and pro black creatures in the deck, the only removal that gave me issues was burn. Luckily, I am categorically a RDW player, and could anticipate almost every move my opponent tried.

.... The next turn, I thought you could figure that out by context.
They allowed you another turn after that?

allowed? I was almost at 40 life at the time. Double strike life link exalted creature makes for one hell of a swing, and an easy turn four pull with this deck. Do you actually know what you are talking about when you are presenting these?
Also, wrath...erm, {day of judgement} destroys all creatures bro, not sure how familiar you are with this, but that includes creatures you control that aren't indestructible. I got all my creatures back that turn...my opponents turn, so when my turn started nothing had summoning sickness.

Stalker is hex proof, he has that over {tormented soul}.
Exalted is a cool mechanic, it's so susceptible to removal that it doesn't fit the current meta. Post rotation it'll fit in, but not with decks that rely on it. {Sublime Archangel} will find its way into any deck running white, because why not?
Esper is on the rise, {Geist of Saint Traft}, {Drogskol Captain}, {Lingering Souls}, {Favorable Winds} and {Sublime Archangel} are begging to be broken post rotation. Combined with the fact White has some of the best removal. Esper style Spirits/Exalted could be a huge thing.
I like how this deck post is a battleground for these ideas.
Additionally, the knights ({Knight of Glory} and {Knight of Infamy}) are above the curve anyway. They both have protection from the other color, and Exalted. Either one could be considered to curve out, or sideboard into matchups.
Eh, I disagree, had a blast running this at FNM and plan to do so again, having so many cheap creatures to pick from to somewhat deal with removal, also having both color knights proved a headache for decks with only one color removal, my biggest issue was my creatures getting burned out from under me, exalted lands and the lifelink enchant won that game for me.
What would be a good substitute for ajani

Good question, flying double strike really makes this deck sing, I suppose avacyn if you have it to make everything indestructible, but the Cmc is significantly higher, I am sure there are suitable replacements out there.
Well I'm trying to create a deck but I can't get ajani
I mean iam a big fan of this deck but it needs to be build differently this deck needs to have an amazingly fast startand utility cards that disrupt most control. in mine i run only two spells. Ajani and {faith's shield} why? Because ajani and mikeus the lunarc combo to buff my dudes against blockers and faiths shield is the perfect way to hammer down damage for lethal or protect a choice dude. {thalia guardian of thraben} is really the lynch pin which makes this playable. Run 4 it hiccups control and alot of other things enough to let u get there by turn five. I love this deck. It is however miserable against tokens and i mean aweful!!!
{Silverblade Paladin} is the best replacement for ajani if you don't have any.

This!! First strike is super good
Double strike ;)
I mean duh! But double strike itself is just first strike and regular damage. The first strike is usually the good part
What about {nearheath pilgrim}
What about {ring of thune}
And {ring of xathrid}
