Ok use {nicol bolas} and go from there. Focus on discard effects and possibly some reanimation.

If {Thraximundar} is your new general, stuff that doesn't mind getting sacrificed is a good way to pump him fast. {Reassembling Skeleton} + a reliable sacrifice outlet like {Culling Dais} or even {Skirsdag Cultist} will help Thraximundar get bigger every turn even faster, plus you can use the skeleton as a chump blocker and then sac him before damage.

Eldrazi are insane for Thrax too, since their annihilater abilities are sacrifices. {It That Betrays} is especially nasty for a sacrifice deck.  Him + {Barter in Blood} or {All is Dust} = good times!

One problem with {all is dust} it kills him too

True, it kills thrax, but you can elect to not return him to the command zone so he'll come right back under your control (with his haste), along with all your other colored permanents (with {It That Betrays} out, who lives). Yeah, thrax loses his counters, so it's best used when Thraximundar is either not on the field or doesn't have a lot of counters. Plus a board wipe in commander is always good to have, even when it isn't combining with {It That Betrays}.

Edit: just reread Betrays, only returns opponents sacrifices to you not your own. Bah. Still works as a good board wipe/take everyones stuff, but yeah, your own colored permanents including Thraximundar will die. For a noble cause.
