There is 2 casting cost creatures to sac so the Ruinator gets put in play by the pod. Also lotsa card drawing and stalling so you can use the vial to put the Ruinator in play also. Overall goal is to not cast Ruinator from hand....unless there are 3 creatures in the GY....then by all means.
Open for suggestions.
Personally, I would ditch the 4 ruinators for {serendib efreet} . The deck is based to much on getting those four creatures into play, and let's face it they can easily be killed after that, and then your left with 1/1 elves and snakes to win. You could drop 2 temporal spring for {venser, shaper savant} which can send a spell or permanent back to there hand, alot of the time making them waste a whole turn. Predict is to unpredictable and even with all the spells that put creatures back on their library, it's to many cards just to remove 1 creature. I would replace the qurion elves with {llanowar elves} because you can play it first turn then play the coiling oracle second turn. Other cards you might want to look at are {Psionic blast} , {glen elendra archmage} {man-o-war}, {genesis} , {noble hierarch} , you should drop the 4 predict for 4 {brainstorm} , {awakening zone} , {phyrexian metamorph} , {clone}, {living wish} with a good sideboard. If your dead set on the bounce and predict combo then keep it, but overall you need to rework the creature base and ditch at least two aether vials for the brainstorms, 4 is to many for that amount of creatures. Sorry for constant babbling, I hope this helps, I had the most success with green/blue, keep tweaking and you will find a good balance.
{trygon predator} great card, I play 4 in mine, very effective
The best thing is that even if you kill the Ruinator, it can be cast from the GY. I admit that the deck revolves around getting the Ruinator out, hence the name. I am just trying to build a solid deck around him. I really appreciate your advice and thx for insight on some helpful cards. Also replacing the {quiron elves} with {Llanowar elves} will not garantee a turn two snake no more than a turn one forest and turn two island. I may put my 4 {birds paradise} instead of the lame {quiron elves}......obviously they are in there to sac for the pod......hmmm maybe I will put {lightning greaves} in to protect the Ruinator and give him haste.
I second the {Lightning Grieves}!! An excellent card in a fast fatty deck. ðŸ'ª
