I've been experimenting with it since!
I really want to do an Etb deck with Vela and Deadeye. Add stuff like {Venser shaper savant} and {voidmage husher}
for a sick control deck :D

{Familiar's Ruse} works great with ninjas and ETB effects since its a counter that lets you bounce your own guys.

{Ornithopter} works well if you need cheap guys to ninjutsu from. Also, {mistblade shinob}i also bounces your opponents creatures.
