Not neary enough burn.

Too many creatures. Stormkirk, {Vexing Devil}, storm rage, and Chandra's Phoenix. Are all you need.

Also. You HAVE to have {Shrine of Burning Rage} pretty much game winner.

I would also pretty much ditch all your sideboard as they are way too costly.

You want to win T3-4 or you're pretty screwed.

I pick curse over shrine because of all the artifact remOval in the format. Much less likely to have curse removed. You might be right about it being too creature heavy. I consIdered that and I'll continue to keep that in mind while play testing

That curse is garbage. Get rid of it. There may be arti removal, but you can "in response sac" it.

I'm just seeing this as a basic red deck. Not so much RDW.

Are you shooting for a competitive RDW, or just casual?

This isn't neccessarily true. Cajunjynx is a RDW type of guy and he runs a slighlty Aggro/midrange RDW that doesn't rely on getting lucky t3-4 wind. He's got creatures like hellrider to help with that.

It all depends on what you want to do. I think shooting for a t3 win unless it's infect is not consistent anyways.

Hellrider is good in RDW. Lots of people play him. I used to. But 4 drops are way too costly when you build a deck around NOT getting a lucky turn 3 and making it so it's a consistent turn 3.

I mean. He needs {Thunderous Wrath}, {Shock}, {Pillar of Flame}, and {Incinerate} still.

Those are staples for RDW no question.

Oh and having more than 60 cards in your deck in standard is a big NO GO.

Plus you need a 15 card sideboard. No more. No less. That's a rule.

Wrath- so bad if it's in your hand. Only good off the draw.

Pillar is just overlooked and I agree there

Shock- maybe... Just gotta fit in room

Incinerate- same story as shock.

I did say this is a rough draft though... No sense in being condescending😉

{furnace scamp}, {vexing devil}, {stromkirk noble} and {grim lavamancer} are good for rdw.  {shrine of burning rage} is a must.

The devil, and scamp work really well with {brimstone volley}, and if theyre sent to the graveyard, then they work with the lavamancer.  Lots of good synergy! ;)

{hellrider} and {bonfire of the damned} have won me so many games....shrines are mandatory right now, they are what will beat control decks. This deck doesn't have near enough burn. Writing this while helping neighbor move out. I am the Burn king of these here forums.

I've got an RDW you can look, I'll bump the thread for you. It should help some questions you have, and some of the comments left here.

As kuber has said before it is hard to tell the tone that some one is actually using unless they use emoticons. So if you choose to hear a condesiding tone that's you. I like a nice soft spoken tone. :) Also being that every one is typing, people don't put all the words to show the emotion they talking with.
