I was just {curious}. Wanted see where you were going with the deck.

Oh yea thats cool, i figured it would confuse some people. This is my attempt to make sure other people get to enjoy this wonderful architype that has served me so well for so long before the chaos of rotation jeapordizes it's competitiveness. I have learned so much about this deck idea and it's variations that i want to share it.
Why metamorphic over clone? They cost the same. And I like the lich combo
Metamorph can be cast on life instead of mana which is a choice you'll often need. Also i have copied sword of war and peace against humans and tokens to many times to count the frustrated net deckers.

So how would you feel about 2 and 2?
Nope no {clone} it sucks so much. If you want a secondary option then get phantasmal image.
Okay then

Agree. Clone used to be an OK card. Now metamorph and pimage it's just baddd.
Kaleo, I see you mentioned people aren't familiar with this archetype. I don't think that it's that, I just think people don't like it is all. How does naya pod stack up against this? I only say naya pod because it's very similar to this deck as in it offers a lot of versatility (NP arguably better) just different colors. I'm not sure how everyone feels but black doesn't seem to be that strong of a color in this current block that we have.
Right but Will you also have to realize that all the good clone effects are rotating out. So I thought using clone and the metamorph would make it easier to update the deck when RTR comes around

Yeah man I get that. It just sucks when they make a card that's similar to others but lower cmc, obviously the higher one will not get played. I understand reasoning for clone. 👍
Ok, with the clone, it might be better to run evil twin post rotation.
As for naya pod ive lost to it once in best 2/3 rounds and its never 2-0 KO'd me. In the origional version {blasphemous act} kept the board relatively clear and then {frost titan} cloned a couple times left them frozen and out of steam. In the new version {bonfire of the damned}, {thundermaw hellkite}, and {inferno titan} keep then from estabilishing strong board position no matter what speed im moving. Also naya pod cant stop the combo, it they take an early turn to destroy {heartless summoning} that means they didnt play another two drop that turn which is all i need to get a {solemn simulacrum} to hit turn 5 titan turn six clones or {rune-scarred demon} to fetch the missing piece of the combo.
As for black, massacre wurm is the only reason it can work, but it is the hardest option which is what Greg wants.

I saw a guy playing the {heartless summoning}, myr, lich combo at the fnm before the prerelease of m13. His was B/U only. It looked pretty fun. When he got the combo up and running, he'd tell his opponent, "ok, I've got the shotgun loaded up.". Lol.
Yup, thats how i origionally saw the deck. It was at dark ascension game day, but that version didnt have a whole lot of support outside of the combo. I made a version that {frost titan} and {tamiyo, the moon sage} caught everyone off guard and week after week no one could figure out how to beat it or even why i was winning.
I think it comes out of the gate rather fast and no deck is ready for it's early game
It has early game that is as fast as most, but different than theyre used to. Late game though is far more lethal than 95% of whats out there right now.
Definately sideboard witchbane orb, mind rot really hurts.

Not terrible, but {mind rot} really does hurt if my creatures arent out yet or got killed.
