Title: Gatherer Page
Post by: reezel on July 16, 2012, 12:24:21 PM
I am new to this app and was not sure if the feature I was looking for was not there or if I was just missing it. Is there currently a way to access the gatherer page from the cards info? I would like to either open it in a local browser or open it into safari. I wasn't sure if unlocking rulings allowed this either.

If you mean a way to go from this app to the WOTC website Gatherer, not unless someone posts a link in the forums I guess. But why would you want to, all card info is pulled from Gatherer. Buying the rulings is awesome but won't get you to the gatherer.

I am just getting back into Magic and most of my cards are about 15 years old, so there's a lot of updating to them. I would like to be able to quickly pull up the Gatherer page when playing to avoid long drawn out conversations on the validity of the data I am supplying. I love the app and the data is super helpful, but I am guessing when hitting an in game dispute the actual gatherer page is a more "official" authority.

All the card info posted here is gathered straight from gatherer. So its as reliable as the actual page itself.

I know for my own purposes it would be greatly helpful though.

You should put this as a suggestion in the suggestion forum. :)
