You think about putting {Lilliana Vess} in here? Mill opponent plus discard.

Here is the thing about a 5 CMC card for discard.  By the time you cast it.....your opponent has played all their good cards.  I prefer early discard like {inquisition of kozilek} or {hymn to tourach}.  I do appreciate any suggestions but I like to build decks with one purpose and strategy.  Although discard is a powerful tool.....you are also limiting yourself by adding those cards that do not meet the needs of your strategy.....which is mill in this case.

Sry to sound defensive, I just like to question things and give my thoughts.  Now if you can make a better case then I am always all 👂👂

Nope, I'm fine with your position, i was just thinking of a way to keep them top decking.
On a new note
{grafdiggers cage} I feel is an automatic inclusion in either mill or discard decks.

I originally had 3 in here but I did not like spending 3 mana for a random amount of milled cards.  I like {mind sculpt} and {glimpse the unthinkable} cuz they keep my average CMC low since I am running some 4 and 5 CMC spells.  The low CMC creatures and spells allow me to get a good defense and do some quick milling before I come in with the big guns like Jace or The Nemesis.

It was cool milling 19 cards with a {mind funeral} one time tho.  I actually took out the funerals to add the {sword of body and mind}.....just wish I could get a 3rd sword for this deck.

Yes not a bad SB card.  I have {surgical extraction} in the SB now to handle pesky GY threats but the cage would be more effective verse reanimator whereas the extractions destroy combo decks.....so it's a trade off either way.

Te reason I prefer the cage of extraction. Is its effective whole game on every card, not just the card I targeted.
