I saw them at south by so what!? It was a blast do many bands woe is me and asking alexandria were the only disappointments. Woe is me a lot mor then aa.
After Stand Up and Scream, most of what AA has done has been a disappointment. Reckless and Reckless was meh and Stepped Up and Scratched was a waste. Stand Up and Scream is amazing though. I realize you're talking about live, but I'm jus gonna throw in my 2 cents :P

The band did great live Danny sucked. Didn't try at all. As for the albums stepped up is random dub step covers by others. And I liked most of reckless.
I've actually seen videos of them and it seems like Danny is thinking IDGAF or e is drunk. I've heard it is usually both. Which sucks because he does some pretty cool vocals.
I'm a big time Metallica fan. Don't care what anyone else says or thinks about them or their music, I love them and support them.
I also really love (in no particular order):
Chevelle
Joe Satriani
Amon Amarth
Foo Fighters
Disturbed
Muse
And just because, Dethklok

His normal singing is a bit girly, really. His screams are pretty damn good though.
I gotta say, that band knows how to do a pretty awesome intro lol. Alerion is amazing leading into....... Yeah. That song. Uhhhhhh.........
The Final Episode! That's what it is
Ya they are a good band. Danny just thinks he is the 💩 and doesn't care any more.

I don't wanna be that guy, but I'm gonna be that guy. I absolutely hate Asking Alexandria. They, along with nearly every other metalcore band out there have turned metal into a cesspool where bands have no reason to try and create their own sound or style because they can simply throw together a crappy intro, some screams, and breakdowns and know that people will listen. It's killing all creativity in metal.
EDIT: Merzbow... is it even music?
It's a post avantgarde jazzcore ensamble.
Gorillaz = Top Favorite Band.

Hah funny you would say that...AA was actually the headliner for the concert I went to. But I didn't bother mentioning them. My friends and I sat out for them once the cool bands were done :p
I enjoy Jason Mraz. His voice is soothing and he performs just as well live as recorded.
My other favorites:
Mumford and Sons
Of Monsters and Men
Ed Sheeran
The Shins
Kings of Convenience
Florence and the Machine
and Blind Pilot.

I can't stop listening to my old vinyl collection, Beatles, rolling stones, led zeppelin, the who, and pink floyd all have a seperate space there. The Motown heyday was good too. As to more "modern" music I listen to green day, and most of what shows up on that pandora station.

Ok im goin to have to say something about this cuz alot of ppl dont seem to understand. In the 80s most the bands out sounded the same. Like poison bon jovi, and so on. Yeah they where a lil diffrent but not by much. In the 90s the same thing happened it was grundge, 2000 was when screaming and massive guitar solos took over. Now its screaming and a really good drummer in the band. Dnt get me wrong theres alot of bands out there i cant stand. But it comes with the style of music thats out. If u dnt like the music just wait abother 10 years and it will all change again maybe into something you like.
I agree with Sevenfold. Either that, or you'll realize that the music then sucks and you'll think the music today isn't too bad.
To be honest, I really miss rock. I listen to modern metal/screamo because it's the closest, really. Most of today's music is this pop bs that people think is good or some crappy rap about drugs and sex. And fights. And rape. And so on. That may be stereotyping a bit, but it still sucks.

And atleast rock, metal and screamo they put theyre emotions into the music an sing from their souls not out their ass' and making crap music just to get famous, "you a stupid hoe" comes to mind -.- atleast they use proper English in their somes and don't sound like a mentally handicap person like if Justin beaver, Nikki manderan, Rebecca black and every rapper that isn't eminem died music wouldn't be half bad

I find most dub step way to repetitive. There a few songs that I like but most is the same beat for the 6-10 minutes. But you can find a few that know how boring that is and switch it up a bit.

It's annoying to most people who don't already listen to a lot of techno or progressive. Plus, dubstep is made to be played at raves and parties with powerful subwoofers for full effect. I know that it's a really hated genre but I like it.
Dubstep is a form of dance music. Dance music by nature is repetitive: techno, house, trance, yadda yadda.
I'm not saying that's good or bad. Just sayin'.

Totally understandable I like it to an extent but can only listen to it under the right moods cause it has got on my nerves before
Like, it's a lot of big Youtuber's outros and stuff, and thats fine, but to put headphones in and listen to it regularly would drive me crazy. I know it is meant for raves, etc, but most people I know just load it on their iPod and listen.
