How much room do the offline pictures take? If u download them all
Good question, I'll check and post here, and also add some info in the app Settings maybe.
Around 1.4GB if you download them all.
Ok thanks any way to lower this number while still download all? The app I uses to use before this one took A little less than half this size(652mb)... Just asking
Which app was that? (This forum is not like the others, you can talk freely about competition and stuff.)
I suppose it can and I'm actually working on it, I'm not hosting the pictures myself yet but I have to start doing so. Maybe I'll have lower quality jpg scans for free and HD png versions for a buck or two.
The app is called mtg decked it downloads all the picks up to now downloading the picks is free and so is high def pics are free... Don't confuse it with mtg deck builder they were not bad but there is a bug and u update all and once u close the app it goes back to before u update this bug has been around since march
Decked Builder cannot do mass download of card images, you have to do it one by one or from the lists, same as iMtG for free. Decked Builder is $3.99, not free.
To get the same functionality as Decked Builder in iMtG, you have to pay $0.99 for no ads and $1.99 for multi deck option.
Decked Builder is actually quite decent, but I disagree with a lot of the UI design decisions of the author.
I have the full version of imtg with all the extras I was just asking if it was possible to reduce the amount of space taken. As for mtg decked ya there was the initial price of the app and now I can get all the card pics for free all I have to do is do a search Of a sPecific set and the slowly scroll down the list and it downloads all the pics 17955 cards = 625 mb
Size is directly related to quality, you have to stop at some point. At the moment iMtG is using 312x445 as on magiccards.info, but I may be changing that. At some point I'll probably add a HD switch so you can decide whether to use low quality jpg or high quality png files, and you will be only able to choose HD if you have HD scans option purchased. For you it will be free, of course, as you have Have it All, boss ;)
I don't get it
If I reduce the amount of space taken, the quality of the scans will suffer.
I understand that part I think with decked is when u download the the pics they are in "standard " format and then there is a option that when u actually view the cards it downloads an hd version. I didn't understand the whole thing about being free to me since I have it all ... Was it sarcasm or if you purchase the all option you get everything else free from then forward ?
Not sarcasm, Have it All unlocks every future upgrade or paid option, excluding monthly server access charge.

Did you ever add the hd pics just curious and wondering where they are if that was the case
My friend uses decked and said they take for ever with updates, big fixes and their database is out of date. He said he wishes imtg was on android so he could get it
No, partially because of http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=389490
