Title: Scenario
Post by: Fenster on July 13, 2012, 02:14:07 PM
The situation is this. I cast both {undying evil} and {Unhallowed pact} on a creature my opponent controls.  Then i kill it somehow. What happens?

Both triggers are going to try to return the creature from the gy.  You control them both, so you decide the stack order.  First in, Last out. If undying resolves first, they get their creature back with a +1/+1 counter.  If Pact resolves first, you get it with no counters.  I'd save your Evil.

Either way, whichever is second down on the stack will not resolve, since the creature changed zones.

LOL
Otherwise people keep posting "I think this happens instead..." "No, some guy I know said this..."

It's scars' equivalent of "Final Answer".

Yea, without "resolved" you get guys like me coming on at 3 in the morning drunk, just complicating things, making things into nonsense then second guessing myself and ruining it all. Yay!
