I use {timberland guide} in my GW humans to give {champion of the parish} an early boost, maybe a pair of {rancor} would give any of your creatures a boost too.

I would run 4 {Razorverge Thicket} and 2 {Sunpetal Grove}. It is good to draw razorverge t1 so you are prepared to cast either a champ or a mana dork.
