Title: Lock option
Post by: MostBlunted on July 09, 2012, 04:06:02 PM
Would be cool if there would be a lock option for my precious, needed and for trade. With lock option I mean that you can't change the value of my precious, needed and for trade.

I often gice my iPhone to people if they wanna know which cards I have. And it often happens that they change the value while looking and scrolling  through my collection.

Interesting. How about telling them not to?

You ever gave your iPhone to someone who never used a smartphone?

1. Who has not used a smart phone aside from amish people.
2. If they (somehow) have not used one do not give it to them.

OR say "while you're looking at the cards, don't change *these* numbers. Also, don't change my password, send graphic texts to my friends or save pics of your genitals."

Maybe you'd only need to say the first part... But I don't know what kind of people you'd hand your phone to.

They're not just randomly changing the values you know, they are updated in real time from wherever it gets the prices from.
I think he didn't mean the prices, probably he meant the amount of cards in my precious/decks/needed/trade binders

I find that when looking through my library it is easy to accidentally change my totals so I would agree that some sort of lock feature would be handy.

That´s only because we are both too stupid to use this app. It´s not like that the app sometimes lags a little bit while scrolling down/up/left/rightt fast and touch accidentally the numbers for my precious. It´s just us beeing too stupid, not the app.

What's the point of having a "suggestion" forum if all you're going to do is say "no" or "on my todo list".

seems kind of redundant to me.

You'd prefer a dev who doesn't listen to his community?

Well let's see when he says On My TODO then he plans on adding it to the app, you have to consider he is the only developer of this great great app and with the amount of suggestions and/or bug reports he gets I say it can be a bit overwhelming. Now when he says NO then he doesn't like the idea and/or he feels like its not a benefit to the app, at least he isn't leading you on when he tells you flat out no.

When I say 'on my TODO', it may just have been added to it. Because you gave me the idea.
