Thank you kind sir, for some reason I wasn't able to find the deck list on the site, perhaps my Internet nav skills are dwindling. All foil is nice but I just don't think it's worth $40, Magic is so stingy with the good cards, the commander "counterpunch" deck is a better value at $30 just for the {scavenging ooze} alone.

Well, I love the foil {Reanimate} and {Entomb} myself.  Also, I was lucky to get it at a good price early, so I scooped it.  ;)

Is it worth the 40 bucks for all the foils?

It's up to you, I suppose.  I like collecting foil lands, so right there I'm pretty happy.

If you look at the prices card-by-card on tcgplayer.com (the pricing used by this app), then the highest valued cards in there are (in USD):

{Entomb}: ~$16.50
{Reanimate}: ~$4
{Sphinx of the Steel Wind}: ~$3.5
{Cabal Therapy} (alt art): ~$3 (I'm a little surprised, considering it's alt art)
{Swamp}: ~$0.20 x 21 = $4.20

That's ~$30 right there, not including S&H.  That's not including multiple copies of {Buried Alive}, {Animate Dead}, and {Dread Return}.  I don't know if I'd may a lot more than $40, but that would be close to my threshold.

Then again, you could always ask Santa.  ;)

I would buy if the {animate dead} had the alpha-5th edition artwork. Anyone know how often they release a new premium deck?

I think they are in a cycle of:
Large set - Sept/Oct
Premium - Nov
Small Set (1) - Feb
Small Set (2) - April
Multiplayer/Casual - June
Core Set - July
From the Vault - Aug

Duel Decks are a little irregular.  All of the product release info is here:
