For my first fnm (really excited) I'll be using a {Burning Vemgence} deck.
Please I really need all of the tips you can offer.
Also I made this by myself I did not copy it in any way. (net deck haters)
4x {Burning Vengence}
2x {Secrets of the Dead}
2x {Altar of the Lost}
4x {Dream Twist}
4x {Harvest Pyre}
4x {Geistflame}
2x {Devil's Play}
2x {Rolling Temblor}
3x {Think Twice}
3x {Thought Scour}
3x {Desperate Ravings}
2x {Faithless Looting}
1x {Increasing Confusion}
2x {Shimmering Grotto}
11x {Island}
11x {Mountain}
I know I need {Sulfur Falls} but I do not want to put creatures in my deck, becayse it makes all my opponents killspells dead cards. If (for example) my opponent has 8 renoval spells he has a 1 in 7 chance of drawing a dead card. I like that :)
So all your suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
Thorn
Please
Anything
;)
Well without any creatures you'll be going straight up vengeance and burn as your win con.
You've got enought to get there for sure, but the player running counter magic may be able to slow you down. Why not add {noxious revival} so you can use some of the more powerful spells again before casting them from the grave. I dunno, just an idea. {Spellskite} would also work for this.
The one problem I see with this deck is that it will be obliterated by Aggro decks. I would suggest putting in 4 of some one drop creature to keep yourself alive a bit longer

Delver
Lol.
I had some ideas, but I pressed a button on my ipod and all my text was exiled. I will type it up on a computer. Lol
I have a few suggestions for this deck.
I recommend that you take out these cards:
4 {Harvest Pyre} - It seems like all this card does is deplete your stock of flashback cards in your graveyard, and it doesn't even hit a player.
4 {Dream Twist} and 1 {Increasing Confusion} - It doesn't seem like you have enough mill in this deck to win. There is only enough to annoy (or potentially help) your opponent. Yes it triggers {Burning Vengeance}, but there are better options. In my humble opinion, mill is all or nothing.
1 {Rolling Temblor} - This is a good card but {Slagstorm} is better, even with no flashback. Still keep one though because you may flashback it late-game. But I don't think 2 is really necessary considering that the flashback cost is so high.
So, that leaves 10 slots open. I recommend that you replace the dropped cards with these:
4 {Silent Departure} - This card replaces {Harvest Pyre} because it is much better removal. Firstly, you still get flashback. So no harm done there to conflict with the deck idea. Secondly, it does not get rid of your cards in the graveyard. This is important; you need those cards for flashing back. Also, it is guaranteed that a creature will get removed with this card. With {Harvest Pyre}, you can't really get rid of big creatures without sacrificing your precious graveyard resources. But with {Silent Departure}, you get rid of a creature, fill up your opponent's hand more (for what that's worth :p), and also make them waste their mana the following turn to get the creature back on the board. Meanwhile you are burning their face off.
2 {Slagstorm} - This card is great. No flashback, but you will still have 1 {Rolling Temblor}. Slagstorm is good for wiping away any weak-to-medium-strength creatures that your opponent might have. Say you are facing a {Delver of Secrets} deck, and your opponent has 4 spirit tokens from {Lingering Souls}, a {Favorable Winds}, a {Delver of Secrets}, and a {Drogskol Captain} on the board. One {Slagstorm} will make all of his board presence go bye-bye. It works the same for mana dorks (wolf-run ramp and other decks), and generally any smaller creatures. Another option for smaller creatures is {Gutshot}, but you already have {Geistflame} which is way better for this deck.
2 {Increasing Vengeance} - A wonderful card for this deck. Great for getting a third use out of any instant or sorcery you might have. Pay the additional 2 mana to copy {Slagstorm}, and you can even kill a {Primeval Titan}. Basically a {Day of Judgement} for red.
2 {Charmbreaker Devils} - I know you said you didn't want to run creatures, but this card could be a mid-to-late game lifesaver. If you already have it on the board, you can do some pretty neat things. For instance, you could cast 1 {Silent Departure} to get rid of a fatty blocker, then {Geistflame} a weak blocker for lethal. Now you can swing for 12 damage with the charmbreaker steamroller. Not bad as a secondary win-con.

So those are my suggestions. No matter what you decide on, I hope you have fun and win some packs maybe! ;)
Thanks all.
Also I have a werewolves deck that I playtest against this and BV won.
ps coffee I have 3 {Silent Departure} and 3 {Increasing Vengence} in my sb
How long have you been playing
It was funny.

Wouldn't it be for self mill to increase his own resource pool?
4 faithless looting for digging? How bout forbidden alchemy?
