I'm looking to put together a four-player commander free-for-all. I'll settle for three or five, though. ;) This is the chance to test out your brilliant inventions, my friends! Let our Generals lash out at one another!
RULES:
Standard Commander/EDH rules apply. All of them.
All participants must post an up-to-date copy of their decks in the "Commander" section of the forum.
It is strongly suggested to have a pen and pad for board-mapping, life-tracking, and funny drawings.
As this is primarily a laid-back way of testing, you are not limited to a certain number of proxies. But let's keep it realistic, shall we? Not many of us can say we have or are going to get a {Black Lotus}.
No cheating! This is an honor-based system. Cheating violates the simple mandates instituted by our beloved {Piotr}.
At the end of each of your turns, you must post a "Permanents List". This is a simple list of {linked} cards. This can be performed easily and effectively by copy and pasting your list from one round to another, adding or removing as needed.
[More rules to be added as they are created.]
1. Desolatus
2. Kuberr
3. Clearmario
4.
5.
Lol more then 1v1 would be crazy.

How so?
Do you want the resons alphabetically or by order of significance
:P
Well, playing an EDH game IRL isn't really too hectic, and I play with some dudes who love their counterspells. It would obviously have to be formatted in one way or another. Like periodic "Objection" phases. They are when you would use something like a {Counterspell} or
{Cancel}. Otherwise you go in a sequence. What other problems do I need to find a solution for? I don't mean that as a rhetorical question, I really do want to work put the kinks.
Is it plausible?
Yes
Is it do-able?
I do not think so but hey... Give it a shot!

It's already difficult to keep track of the board agains 1 person. Against 4.... Well..... It's worth a shot.
C'mon guys! Where's your sense of adventure?
Jace and Thorn, would either of you like to be involved?
Sign me up! As long as I can use cockatrice!

That's
Fine! Just note that the event itself WILL be a wall game. :)

Awesome. Then I'm in!
Since I have nothing else going on, you want to go a round? 1v1 is fun too. :P
Currently not at home. Won't be able to get onto the computer Tonight either. Sorry mate.
When will this happen?
When we get at least three and it's apparent that we won't be getting any more.
Haha okay then. :)
Sorry wasn't trying to rain on your parade. I just seen some edh games where there is a sh!tload of items on the battle field. And some of the cards made only in that format people are not used to and keep checking them.
If you think it can be done go for it.

Hey yeah, I got you man. Don't worry about it. I want that kind of criticism. I do think it would be easy to copy and paste a "permanents list" that can be tacked on the the end of your turn.
I'll play
Alright! I'll tack you on. When is a good starting time for you two?
Probably subday
Well, I would like to get it done in a 24 hour period. So how about late Saturday/ Early Sunday to late Sunday/ early Monday?
