Title: Crumbling colossus and fling?
Post by: Validan on December 07, 2011, 10:39:00 PM
If I use {crumbling colossus} to attack and then cast {fling} after combat damage has been done will I deal an additional 7 damage or will it be sacrificed before I can play the spell? This combo is I think similar to {Geist of saint traft} and {sundial of the infinite}, also could you use sundial in place of fling to end the turn and not sacrifice the golem?

It is the same interaction, yes. After combat damage has been dealt, there is one final step. At the beginning of this step, the end of combat trigger with go on the stack. You have the chance to respond to that trigger by "tossing the colossus". (I like how that sounds. :) )

Good call.  ðŸ'
