{Doubling Season} works better here because so many effects in the deck give my creatures +1/+1 counters.

If I had the Parallel Lives I'd switch it out with the {Gaea's Blessing} in the deck lol

Edit: Besides, this deck existed in its entirety sans the Plains and mono white cards for the longest time until {Cathars' Crusade} came out and I just HAD to splash white ;)
