My lgs is offering 6 booster boxes for first place in the prerelease!
This will be my 1st prerelease and my first tourney. Any tips?
Go for cards that work well together. Small casting costs, and one or two big fatties.
That is a case and it is worth $600. You sure they are giving 6 booster boxes?
Are prereleases sealed or draft?

Probably total prize pool for the weekend.
At our helvault they gave away 6 boxes in 2 days. And that was about 100 people per day.

That seems very unlikely...what are the other prizes if first place is 6 boxes?
How many people is the tournament going to be?
I'm just curious because business's dont stay in business by throwing money away.

There is no shortage of pro draft strategy on the Internet. Podcasts, all the major resellers, forums. It's insane.
sealed decks are even easier though more luck dependent.
