Title: MTGO
Post by: BadLuckIrish on June 24, 2012, 08:59:09 PM
So exactly how many of u have this? And is it worth to get and just play on here or is it better to actually get the cards and what not?

Whats your opinion?

20$ for a lifetime subscription of it. You have it for life, and the cards in your collection.

It's a little cheaper than real cards, but you can draft and play tourneys literatly whenever you want.

I had it, it's ok. Slightly cheaper then Paper magic. If they make a client for more platforms (Xbox, ps3, iPhone, ect) I think it'd be more popular.

I enjoy the social part of MtG, few beers, music and some good friends.

Hazzah!!  Three cheers! 🍺🍻

I have an account, but I never play. I don't like the idea of not owning physical cards and I spend enough on those anyway.

If I didn't have that many cards or a social group, I might take it up...

Can you actually get the physical cards? Ive been contemplating getting mtgo since I love to draft and would like to do it more than once a week when I want.

I think if you complete a set you can redeem them for real cards.

What's the point of paying for the cards if you can't own them? That's a big turnoff IMO.

Well, you still 'own' them, they're like iTunes downloads. They are purely digital.

I second this.

It's fun, and sometimes essential when you don't have a regular group to play with.

No fat packs or those sets. But mtgo has masters editions. Which is only offered there. Which is basically all the older stuff.

You can buy deals online or buy individual cards. Which is the best idea. It's way cheaper.

Unless they changed it.. I didnt like it do to combos with triggers that need targets. {saffi eriksdotter} {crypt champion} and {soul warden} for instance in real life once u start the combo you just name how much life you want to go to. Mtgo u have to click and click and click and after i think 50 mins ita a draw bc ur at like 100 life and used all the time in the round. U cant just adjust your life to w/e.
