So .. I can't figure out how to use this stupid thing ..so I'm afraid I won't be posting the deck. But I need ideas for how this style of deck will beat delver. Some key cards ? This is for competitive magic, the deck doesnt lose to anything exept delver...which it goes 50/50 with ...I NEED HELP TO KILL THE ARMY OF GEISTS AND INSECTS WEILDING SWORDS. so yeah any tips would be much appreciated (:

This i the situation ive been dealing with since avacyn release. I finally found answer in bonfire and second guess. Also steelhellkite destroys delver decks if you can keep it alive.

Bonfire and slagstorm ..I think that'll be a huge help d: thanks to everyone! Does anyone think control decks will be viable without mana leak?

If you're running 4 {mana leaks} and 2-3 {dissipates} with 4 {snapcaster mage}..I'd say you have an advantage.

4x {ratchet bomb}
Or use the black spells that make them sac creatures. Some already mentioned.

Or you can run lots of artifact destruction if that's possible in those colours.

Control is more viable without counters right now. Wrath is super powerful agains the format right now but counters arent very effective.

I wouldn't  agree with this.

There is 1 day of judgement. Unless you mean terminus, blasphemous act, black suns zenith. All of which are pretty spendy.

There is a reason why delver and esper control are so popular, blue runs counters and it makes the difference. Cheap 1U counter does it. Snap= u3 counter

Esper control can't win in this format though, delver walks right over it.. Blacks suns is not spendy in this deck I don't find because there is 27 land in the deck and I'm dropping one every turn

Did you just say blaspemous act is spendy? Im realy confused now. Grixis has great spot capabilities but strugles with the speed of more weenie decks where blasphemous act ends up costing 2-3 on turn your turn two or three. Bonfire is the real note worthy wrath though as long a its used right. The common mistake is "ooo, miracle bonfire fire for all my mana" delver: "mana leak". As long as you dont play into the very few counters that there are these days or just play more threats than they can counter youll be fine. Frost titan is a great anti delver bomb cause vapor snag costs more than they want to pay.
