If my 10/10 infect creature with trample attacks and a 1/1 creature blocks him. Does the 9 trample damage go to the player as infect?

Yep
I don't see a reason on what it wouldnt.
Yeah if you read the description under infect, the damage that is dealt by an infect is counted as -1-1 counters to creatures and to players as infect counters
cough poison counters cough.
Ok does infect trample go over {melira's keepers}
Yes it will block 4 -1-1 counters and the rest go through.
Now if say a {gloom surgeon} was in play blocking then your opponent wouldn't get poison counters
Gloomy would block 1 point of damage, the rest would trample over.
Shot down
the same is said with indestructable prevent damage regenerate etc etc. Trample will still knock over
No that's not the right card, it was a creature that said it blocked all damage and then did something else

Thanks for the replies.
I do understand how trample works.
I've just never played infect decks or against them so I didn't know if there was an exception to it. Thanks again everyone.
