anyone do it last night i did really good 2-1 and i beat the store manager i used mono green soulbound overrun kind of thing opened 2 revenge of the hunted and won one pack and opened ANOTHER ONE lol got 3 yesterday
Avacyn draft ended up being a lot of fun. I didn't feel the same way about Innistrad (I felt it was too slow) and innistrad+Dark Ascension was more of the same.
I took 2nd place last night at my FNM draft with red/green agro. 4-1. {Malignus} won every game he saw play, and I got to {Rush of Blood} him twice throughout the night for surprise auto-wins. {Burn at the Stake} for 12 a couple times too, easy to do with as many 2-drops as I had.
And my prize packs had {Avacyn, Angel of Hope} and {Sigarda what's-her-face}, so i had a pretty good night.
I love Avacyn. Im gonna miss drafting it so badly, I hope M13 lives up to it.
Went 3-1 for third place with Naya Humans. 2 {Goldnight Commander}, 3 {Hanwier Lancer}, it was pretty good
Though I didn't have a single rare in the deck, and got a {Consecrated Sphinx} with my prize, no packs.

did my first one today....horrible loss...
Went 1 for 3. Had some pretty awful losses though. {Thunderous Wrath} miracled when he was at 1 and I was at 5 was pretty rough. Or an opponent who said his {Tandem Lookout} was a flyer (and I didn't double check) so he got crazy card advantage. Ugh. Learned a valuable lesson from that. If I don't know the card personally, read it! Oh well. No good pulls, besides a {Wolfir Silverheart}.

I did my first FNM last Friday. They use extended rules. I went 4-3 and finished 3rd. They only hand out prizes to the top 4. My son finished 4th. The prize was a foil {acidic slime}. No boosters or anything. There were only 16 people there. Top deck was mono red. My deck was G/W human/angels.

I'm gonna guess he's counting games and not match records. Like, he went 2-0, 2-1, and 0-2 in 3 different matches, or something like that.

Gorzo is right. I should have specified. It was matches. And I did go 2-0, 2-1 and 0-2. The decks I beat were Delver. The 0-2 game was to the mono red. His deck just clicked... It was crazy.
The FNM is from 6 to 9pm
