Tried to sway from the usual soldier deck to include some equipment and the Geist.  Was thinking about {vapor snags} over {feeling of dread}. Ideas?

What about {Phantasmal image}? You could use it to copy {Geist of Saint Traft}....

And you could enhance your planeswalker with Proliferate effects....

That's an effective play I didn't even consider.  Better or worse than {phyrexian metamorph}.   ?

{Phantasmal Image} needs less mana, but turns your creature a little fragile, being an Illusion.

By the other hand, {Phyrexian Metamorph} costs 1 extra mana and is an artifact.

I think you should chose based on the pace you want your game to take.

Well, I'm still learning and I'm sure others can come with cool ideas too.

Not sure it's necessary to proliferate with Gideon, at least I haven't found I've even needed the option when playing him, course that's just me...

I like {sunblast angel} with gideon's ability to make opponent attack him.  Someone else posted that combo.....for the record.

I am making a u/w all flying deck around {pride of the clouds} {radiant, archangel} and the {Geist of saint traft}.  The Geist only produces flyers but my {aven mimeomancer}s will help make him flying as well.  Ofcourse that is a casual topic but your deck sparked my interest for ideas.

I actually just picked up 3 of them today for this deck.  It makes the Geist a two round killer.  Gotta love it!

Have you considered {Puresteel Paladin} or do you run too little equipment?

I have some equipment in the deck, but most will probably be replaced by {angelic destiny}
