Title: Beast Within
Post by: cltrn81 on November 28, 2011, 08:20:32 PM
Does a 3/3 token get put onto the battlefield if I cast {beast within} on a creature enchanted with {boar umbra}?  The totem armor saves the creature but since the creature is not destroyed, per say, then they wouldn't get the token.....me thinks.

Even if the permanent is not destroyed the spell will do as much as it can, a beast will be made.

No worries!  It's good skill development to try to answer rules questions.  I will usually be around here just in case.   ;)

In my point of view, you could just use it on the enchant..no?
Since it says target permanet...
It will put the token anyway but just to make sure you could do that hehe

I know you could use it on the enchantment, my hope was to kill the enchantment by targeting the creature and robbing them of a free 3/3
