Can I use a quicksilver amulet on phage and not lose the game or would I lose the game

Lose the game unless you use {Stifle}

you lose the game. unless you have a torpor orb or similar to stop the gameloss trigger.

But he didn't cast it. He used {Quicksilver Amulet} to place a creature on the battlefield. It wasn't "cast" so it's trigger shouldn't take effect, no? Same reason you don't get your extra turn for quicksilver'ing out {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}.

its because she wasn't cast from the hand the effect triggers.

Derp, my mistake, I forgot how to read and how phage worked for a minute there.
