Uhhh, let's average the common and uncommons at $0.10 a piece, there's $250. I wouldn't say that's too bad. Then throw the rares and muthics on top off that. I don't have the money, but that's really not that bad of a price.

They're ten cents because they have to make money. Not nessicarily what they're worth.
Tell that to someone selling them. They may be worth 1 cent to you, but a lot of people buy them and sell them for what the price is on TCG player and stuff. I think 10 cents a common is fine.
My shop does 7 for a $1. If you get a bunch they'll give you discounts.
