iMtG Server: Gathering

B/W Human Sacrifice 60 cards, 0 sideboard 15 {Plains} 8 {Swamp} 23 lands 4 {Champion of the Parish} 4 {Thraben Doomsayer} 2 {Corpse Traders} 4 {Silverblade Paladin} 4 {Village Cannibals} 3 {Riders of Gavony} 4 {Unruly Mob} 25 creatures 4 {Bonds of Faith} 4 {Gather the Townsfolk} 4 {Human Frailty} 12 other spells Sideboard

Looking for something new to play. Never tried humans before so why not. Any suggestions? Still honing my deck building skills so I can use all the help I can get lol

I really don't want to say this but you could splash green for {kessic cagebreaker} and there is another green human that sacs a creature so another creature gets two +1+1 counters I forget the name

I'd be interested in knowing what card you are referring to. Maybe G/W is the way to go.

Oh I like that card a lot. This may warrant a total rethinking of this deck

I'd replace Human Frailty with Altars Reap so sacrificing a creature leads to a benefit.

I'd also take Skirskag High Priest and use the morbid trigger to get 5/5 demons.
Blood Artist may be good if you want a benefit for killing your humans and Ravenous Demon if you're feeling lucky.

I'd also recommend Increasing Devotion to get a lot more humans out and Bone Splinters for cheap removal, though Tragic Slip may be better.

I think all three of these cards might find a place in the final build but {ravenous demon} seems like a little bit of a gamble. Still I think with the addition of {increasing devotion} it would be possible to have enough to appease the demon

Given it was pre avr but it's still worth a read and you can see what works well in a human sacrifice deck..

{Ravenous Demon} is completely epic. I play T-4 {Demonmail Hauberek} T-5 {Ravenous Demon} T-6 {Increasing Devotion} Sac 1 token to transform another to equip swing for 13 flying trample damage. This card is a complete epic bomb. Do not run 4of though I would only play two.

Very informative article thank you for the suggestion. I have a lot of ideas to work with now so I'll obtain the cards I want and play around a bit with it. I'll let you all know what I settle on and how well it works
