Title: Living weapon

Can someone please explain {Living Weapon} to me.  I have {Batterskull} and I want to utilize him the best way I can.  In laymens terms please. {BlackJester}, I know you can help me out.

All living weapons are equipments that come into play with a creature attached to them and therefore you can attack and block with them ( must wait to use attack ability until summoning sickness is gone usually have to wait a turn unless you have some way of give it haste) anytime it is your turn you may pay the equip cost and attach it to another creature to give it it's abilities the added bonus of this particular equipment is that you can pay 3 and return it to your hand if this are not going your way like if someone tries to destroy it or {Disenchant} for instance

To clarify Raven's point a little, all of the "living weapons" enter the battlefield and create a 0/0 germ token and attach themselves to the token. If you chose to equip another creature, the 0/0 germs would probably die, unless you had something keeping them alive.
