Title: Tamiyo Ultimate winner
Post by: JohnSalun007 on June 11, 2012, 07:53:51 PM
{Tamiyo, the Moon sage}'s ultimate ability + an untapped {Mountain} + {Infernal Plunge} + Sac a {Goblin Arsonist} or a {Perilous Myr}

What you do is keeping using the plunges mana to play the same creature over and over and then play the same plunge over and over until your opponent hits 0 or just rage quits.

How do you sac your creatures

To cast Infernal Plunge you have to also sac a creature for the three red mana.

It's pretty easy to set up too if you run both goblin arsonists and the myr in your deck.

Which in my opinion should be in all decks that deal with sackng. I throw perilous myrs in almost any black or red deck I have.

Could someone make a deck around this to share with everyone?

You could also use {Heartless Summoning} in place of Plunge. Then you can toss in {Priest of Urabrask} for unlimited {R}.

......... A lot more complex, but it would work

Not really because it would have to be saced by the spell. It just dies automatically and you get 2 free {R}. Only thing that can get disrupt the cycle would be a counter spell. But if you are running blue, you just prepare for that. And then add in a {fiery hellhound} with {artful dodge} game!

Wait.... Would the myr work with this? It says whenever it enters a graveyard, but tamiyos ultimate emblem says whenever a card would be put into graveyard it goes to your hand. Would the damage not be dealt then?

Oracle text says when it dies. Interesting thought though.

We need Jester. He could tell us the answer.

The original text for dies is when this creature is put into the graveyard from play. So no the perilous myr wouldn't work

Acctually it would work because tamiyo says "whenever a card is put into you graveyard" or sumthing like that. So it is put into the graveyard so it would trigger the myrs ability

We're good here?  Tammy's Ultimate + {Heartless Summoning} + {Perilous Myr} = Unlimited 👊

Tammy's Ultimate + {Heartless Summoning} + {Priest of Urabrask} = {R} x lots.
