Title: Cranial plating
Post by: peepew on June 11, 2012, 01:24:30 AM
Just a question cause I'm unsure but it's says attach for 2 and equip for 1 right ? Does the attach mean you can switch it from one attacking creature to another attacking creature of yours at instant speed ? Thanks

But if you equip it to an etched champion with metalcraft. Does it matter if you switch it?

{Cranial Plating}

Equip is sorcery speed, attach (if it has it, very few do like this one) is indeed instant speed.

And sure it if matters! Even a metalcrafted {Etched Champion} can be blocked by artifact creatures, switch the plating to an unblocked creature after blockers are declared but before damage!

⬆this

I did this in a comeback win just yesterday.  My unblocked {ornithopter} won the game for me after I attached it with an obscene amount of artis in play.  Using my {mishras factory} to turn himself into an arti creature helped give me that last point of damage while leaving my 2 black open to attach the plating ;)

Take that Delver Blade!!!!!!!!  His 2 flipped Delvers were gonna swing for game next turn too.
