With {Bruna, Light of Alabaster}s ability, if I attach two {spirit away}s, will the control effects cancel out and I still have control of it? Would the +2/+2 effects still apply?
All efects apply so...
It gets +4/+4
And you REALLY control it lol

I mean if you take an opponents spirit away an attach it to her an one of yours.... Who would control it then.
Ohh I see. Uh I don't know. Rock paper scissors? Haha
You can apply as many {spirited away} to a creature and you will always control it and it gets +2/2 for each copy.

Ok. So I put my opponents three spirit aways and my two on her. So I would control her and she would get the +10/+10.
Plus she would have 5 stacks of flying making her unblock able by creatures without the same.
Sorry I had to :)

Wait, does that actually work that way?

No. I wish
for the final answer as long as one of the control effects are yours and you are attaching them at the same time.
I don't think the OP's question has really been answered yet. You are asking if there two {Spirit Away}s on the field, one of yours and one of your opponent's, and you cast Bruna and attach both of them to her who will control Bruna? Right?
The answer is it depends on whose {Spirit Away} is the newest in play. Both auras will apply in timestamp order (oldest applied first). The controller of the most recent control effect will gain control of Bruna.
wait time stamp goes by etb? i thought it went by when they were attached.

Their attached when they enter the battlefield.
And thank you Jester. That's very helpful. Case Closed.

ETB, yes.
Edit: I lied. scarsabrex was right when it comes to auras.
613.6d If an Aura, Equipment, or Fortification becomes attached to an object or player, the Aura, Equipment, or Fortification receives a new timestamp at that time.
woot!
Best is when you attack with her, attach a mess of auras and whatnot then she gets a doom blade to the face. I've had bad luck with this lady lol.
unless she gets an aura which shrouds her.
{canopy cover} for the let down. 😝

Actually I'd prefer one with hexproof. Shroud means she can't have any one her except that one. Hexproof would just take away opponents chance to doom blade her.
nope you can always attach auras eith her ability. they never target.

You can still put the auras on because it is not a targeting ability, but if you want one with hexproof, {canopy cover} as I stated above.

Great for legacy. But is there a standard variant?

There are no Standard aura's with either Shroud or Hexproof.
{MASK OF AVACYN}
(well it's not an aura but hey beggars can't be choosers )
Oh, there are ways to protect her don't get me wrong. I would suggest {Asceticism} instead, since it'll give her hexproof as soon as she lands with no extra mana investment.

Yes, yes I am. UNLESS I am in Frites reanimator, or I am just splashing {U} and using a {W}{G} mana-base, which I would be inclined to do since those are the better colors for creature boosting auras and {G} can mana ramp and color fix for me.
Haha I was kidding

Well, you make a good point. Double {G} does mean that {Asceticism} pushes the deck down a specific path, but it's what I would naturally do with Bruna myself. {U} just doesn't have good auras in standard that you'd want on her. Most of them are nerfs not buffs. Now {Infinite Reflection} put into play from your hand when she attacks sounds like fun. ;)

Now, if she's your Commander, that's a different story altogether. But then, every Commander needs protection. (I'm getting very long-winded with this Bruna thing, eh?)
Yes sir. You are becoming a Bruna windbag..
Jester, I think you can stop about Bruna now. The case was closed a while ago. Thanks for the inputs though.
Just saying the infinite reflection thing wouldn't work it would copy legendary and all your creatures would die ( non tokens I mean)
