Thought id throw this up, i have had a lot of fun playing this deck and though i havent conpeted with it i have used it for nearly every test run someone has asked me to help with and its done decent.
The idea is simple, ramp, runescar for primal surge, cast surge, put my deck on the battlefield, and stack it properly so ascetism resolves first grand abolisher resolves next then either labortory maniac plus abundant growth or warstorm surge plus the three fiend hunters.

for a second i thought you messed up since you had so many non creatire non lands. but then i checked that they were all permanents. looks solid.

Looks cool.
How about {Surgical Extraction} to remove the instans and scorcerys before surging.

That sacrifices board position cards or ramp cards and adds another step to the set up. I like that this can play on the same level as local fnm decks because it doesnt take too long in set up.

I had a very similar idea for a primal surge deck.  I was going to use {liliana vess} as my tutor.....and just PW rule her if I had to just to keep putting permanents in play.  I would add {Urabrask the hidden} so your waterfall of creatures have haste.
