True... I do have 8 counter spells in here though, that may work...

What do u guys think about basics, 12 island/8 forests or 11 island/9 forests, or what?

I'd side a few {ranger's guile} against burn/creature kill. Cheaper than dissipates when all they're doing is {pillar of flame} or {tragic slip}. Three mana for a one mana burn spell is a little much

Also, {gitaxian probe} over {thought scour}

Something to give them toughness? {sword of war and peace} since its pro red? Latch seeker dies to 1 damage. Especially if he saves 2 burns. He burns, you rangers guile he responds with another burn spell.

I know if this and that.

Take out {Increasing Savagery} and {Spectral Flight} put in {Wild Defience} and {Titanic Growth} and other pump spells. That way you can pump to avoid burn and then when you cast {Titanic Growth} with {Wild Defience} on the table {Latch Seeker} hits for 10!!!

I like the increasing in the deck, I've seen a deck that focused on using it on {Dungrove Elders} and {Birds of Paradise}. It was pretty fearsome. Though I do agree that {Spectral Flight} should go away.

This looks fun. I'd say you'd be able to race most aggro decks with this list. I'd be wary of board wipes tho. You may want to side in a handful of bounce spells {unsummon} or whatever the newer version is to keep an unblockable on board, most control decks will wipe at least once.

The newer card you're referring to is {Vapor Snag}, I believe. I would run over uncommon for the card draw.

I was thinking {saving grasp} or {silent departure} actually due to the fact the use is to save your own creatures from board wipes.
