It's new because I've looked into making this deck better (play testing). It's a little slow but it's funny to watch anyone play against it. Mana leak and destroying my enchaments and artifacts make me sad panda but oh well. M13 possibly has some decent mill cards coming out {howling mine}? Anyways cheers.

Less Creatures, more fog: {Moonmist}, {Blunt the Assult}

Moonmist isn't that great. What about huntmaster and mayor of avabtruck? Sideboard at best.

You are aware stonehorn has a fog effect? Arguably better since he doesn't allow titans to attack and get their extras and hellrider for the same.

If I put any counters in they would be mana leak. It's not the goal here to revolve my deck around 1 archetype (burn) If I'm playing against RDW then I might have problems. I'll make a sideboard for them with {timely reinforcements}

So mana leak,. When u excel their mana.. Sounds bad imo

It has essentially 16 fog effects with 4 board wipes. The rest is card drawing and walker removal. It works a lot better then it looks. I've play tested it a little.

My point is unless they're running counters or a lot of burn, I'll be pretty good. I've played wolf ramp, zombies, RDW, delver an I can say counters hurt the most since I need rites and atlas to draw

My bad, this is standard. I usually play legacy so no werewolves. I don't really use stonehorn because I run just U/G. To each their own.

I think {blunt the assault} should be included

I had it and took it out because of 1 day of judgement and 3 terminus for different effect. They both offer mass removal instead of delaying the inevitable.

The point of turbo fog is to delay the inevitable forever

I'm quite aware. Creature removal helps like terminus and day of judgement since what are you going to do when primeval Titan gets to attack but deals no damage? Get 2 lands every turn. What does hellrider do? Deal non combat damage by attacking. Removing some creatures provides flexibility. That is all.

It's like this, I had no answer for planes walkers in original deck with all effects with no removal. I changed some fog for removal and now it has a little more balance. Wrath, terminus, o ring, stonehorn all provide a fog effect and planes walker removal which are vital for deck being more competitive.

Not to  on this parade but i honestly don't think turbo fog should be a competitive deck.. Sure a kitchen table/ multiplayer deck but not standard fnm competitive.

Just my 2 cents

It depends on what you mean by competitive. Is it going to be a top 8 pro tour deck that everyOne net decks because it works so good? No, it won't.

Is it going to beat a lot of decks by surprise? Yes it will. Is it a sweet combo type deck to pull off? Hell yea it is. I'm a johnny not a spike. I love combos and will have a lot of satisfaction getting everything set up and the look of the opponents face when I mill them rather than deal 20 damage.

I think theres abother reason beyond this type of decks ability to compete with top placing decks that will keep it out of top eight. Turbo fog is designed to win game one and tie game two (in its original incarnation), no player regardless of expierence would be able to play top of their game though an entire pro tour if they went to time every match. There is so much thought that goes into every turn. Not to mention getting called judges on by inmature players who claim stalling.

Stalling? As long as you're playing a spell every turn and not taking 10 mind per turn it's not a problem. In which case as long as you have a fog spell your turn goes pretty quick. I played best of 3 with this deck in less than an hour unless it's control and a lot of people play that and what's the difference between turbo fog vs control and control vs control? Not a lot...

Just because this is posted in standard doesn't mean it has to be the typical deck archetype. Have you seen some of the decks posted in here? Lol this turbo fOg deck would take at least half of them.

It's a work in progress :)

Negates added since creatures are covered by fogs. Biggest problem I have is non creatures ironically.

Thanks for suggestions.

Planes walkers too. That's why negates are in. Thanks though.
