Title: Seize the Soul (Guildpact) Question?
Post by: difascio on November 25, 2011, 04:32:38 AM
This is probably a very dumb question, but the first part of Seize the Soul states that after the creature is destroyed to put a 1/1 Spirit creature token into play...but under who's control would it be under?  I assumed it would be under the player's control whose creature was destroyed but the card if very vague IMO.  Can someone shed some light on this?  Thank you.

{Seize the Soul}

Not a dumb question, this text confuses many. Whenever a card you control says 'onto the battlefield,' it means you get the token/creature/permanent (unless it states otherwise, eg. 'under target opponent's control' or 'under it's owner's control').

So you get the tokens for both abilities. 😃

P.S. So you're aware for future, to do what I did up there with the blue card name, have a read of the below link to make it easier for people to help out 😁
