{Champion of the Parish} looks good in this deck.
Try {Gavony Township} as well - also maybe {Mikaeus, the Lunarch}.
Champion of the parish is nice, but I believe it is overrated just a bit. It's a good one drop that gets bigger, but in the end, it's just a vanilla creature.

Better than you think - when I saw it at first my assumption was "worse than allies" and when I saw it in play I was like "get rid of it!"

Oh I understand how good it is, I have played it before, I just don't like it anymore because I believe I could do so much more with a card in hand

It's pretty much only good on the first turn, but when you play plains, champion then I confess to being scared.
