Title: Cloud Shift on Flip cards
Post by: Jdogtoocool on May 31, 2012, 03:17:07 PM
So what if I cloud shift my transformed delver of secrets, does it come back still transformed or does it come back as a delver?

I think it comes back as the delver not the insectile aboration. I think, not 100% sure though

A flip card removed and returned will always come back "sunny-side-up" on it's day/untransformed side.  So yes, he will return as an un-flipped {delver of secrets} whether he was flipped or not when flickered.

I can see a 3-color deck adding blue or white to abuse {huntmaster of the fells} now that you mention this lol

Edit: the flicker soulbond spirit could have him potentially flipping every turn AND entering the battlefield back as day-side without casting a spell so he flips again next upkeep...damn, I need to get a few copies of huntmaster now.

Yeah I got a really good feel of the flicker effect last night during draft.  Drafter enchanteres closset and built W/U around it. It was ridiculous
