Title: Commander rule question

Dose your legendary creature used for your general have to be a rare or legendary rare to be a legal general or can say {Merieke Ri Berit} be a legal general?

I don't see why not. As long as its not on the list of banned generals.

Sorry wrong example I ment to use an uncommon legend I found can't remember his name though he was red from fallen empires homelands or ice age a red creature one name

You can use any legend that isn't banned.

He doesnt have to be rare. He can be any rarity as long as he is legendary
