I'm having a bit of difficulty explaining that {Gisela, Blade of Goldnight} ability factors as damage is being dealt, not assigned.
Like if i attacked with {Primeval Titan} + {Revenge of the Hunted}, 12/12, then I attack, they block with Gisela, i assign 5 damage to Gisela (because that's all I have to assign to deal lethal damage, before any other abilities), then trample the other 7.
Then Gisela deals 10 to Primeval, he lives, Primeval deals 3 to Gisela, my trample damage deals 4 to the player.
Sound right? Or am I completely wrong...
I believe that you have it
You are completely correct. Damage replacement effects are applied last, after you've made your combat damage assignments.
So gisela would live then
Yep.
I thought it'd only deal 2 to Gisela?
The text says round up.
Wow I'm dumb.

The text says round up.
But it says prevent half rounded up...half of 5 rounded up is 3 so prevent 3 correct? And it doesn't matter too much I just wanna make sure about that haha
It's preventing half of 5. 5/2 = 2.5, rounded up to 3. {Gisela, Blade of Goldnight} takes 3 damage and survives.
Edit: I see what you're saying, it's preventing the 3 and taking 2.
it's gisela takes 2 and survives we already have a thread about gisela and damage.

Sorry :/ and thanks I wanted to clear that up cause I use Gisela, she's my favorite powerpuff haha
PREVENT half damage rounded UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about making it real simple and soulbond {nightshade peddler} to prime time and make Gilesa die and more trample damage.
If you want her to die, you could choose to assign 10 damage, and trample the other two.
