Obviously needs a sideboard too.

I had given {Wandering Wolf} some thought. But for one mana more I could have {Champion of Lambholt}.

Yea I hear ya. The wolf just fits with the theme. Have you considered a couple of {revenge of the haunted}?  Seems like a game winner.

I would go bant with this thing and maybe some elgaud shield mates, white for more flicker dodging
