Why not her ability triggers when a creature enters the battlefield torpor orb prevents abilities from triggering when a creature enters the battlefield

No torpor does not affect a {soul warden} already on the BF. the orb stops a creature with an ETB effect not a landfall type effect.

There is no life gain because the creatures are entering the BF which triggers the soul attendant ability but torpor orb prevents creatures entering the BF from triggering abilities thus no life gain

So orb would stop a landfall ability?

No that's a land entering the battlefield not creature so the orb doesn't effect it.

Orb says it stops abilities from triggering when a creature enters the battlefield it does not say it has to be the creature entering the battlefield.  Any abilities that are triggered when a creature enters the battlefield are prevented like putting counters on champion of the parish.

To further clarify, {topor orb} does not stop landfall abilities since a land is not a creature unless that land is a {dryad arbor} then it is prevented.
