These are so sweet! I didn't hear about the Innistrad planar cards until I read this and I almost cried from excitement and beauty. I'm really pumped about these.
i want to buy 2 copies of the cascade deck, if only just to have 4 copies of shardless agent and bloodbraid elf.

Unless your LGS has a high demand, I know mine usually pumps it up, I'm thinking around 35-45 for me. Depending on cards in the decks

Is it a Canadian problem? Because frankly its annoying. MTG products out here are never MSRP. Is it just that the store owners don't order enough? I'd like to pick up all the plane chase decks, but not at 40 bucks a pop.
No. It's 35-40$ here in Arizona.

Damn principles of supply and demand!
How does the game work does each person need their own set of planechase cards

From the first planechase release;
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/51
In the states you'll get them online for $20. The Hosers will get hosed...again...
Use scarcity preorder...$80 for all 4 ;)
Due to distribution restrictions we are only able to ship this product to the United States, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The old ones are still sitting on the shelves at my lgs you sure demand will be high for these

I can smuggle one for you jester...for a price ;)
You all have to remember Jester and I are in Canada, every magic product is more expensive. Especially with some good cards in these decks. The first planechase may be on the shelves, but they also didn't have new legends that EDH players want to try. It's just like the FTV series, MSRP 34.99. My LGS was selling for 110.
And also very few online stores ship sealed product to Canada. Which I don't really understand why. And the places that do ship in Canada, way too expensive.
That's one he'll of a mark up. Maybe I really should start an underground railroad for magic product to Canada for my North-of-the-Border pals.

Would that price be less than the cost of me buying one legitimately? Otherwise, not a smart move on my part. ;)

If you're in St. Albert, look up Thunderground Gaming. Roy is tha MAN and he offers wicked low prices.
We need to get more players, to increase circulation of local cards, to have more local distributors to lower the prices. That's what we need to do, Hays, THAT'S what we need to do.

Ack, I'm on it!
Jester Hays, I can order them here cheaper and ship them to you guys...just pay for them and for shipping ;D but I only have $100 (which means I can only order 1 set) atm give me a week or two and I'll be at my job and I'll start making in some money
It's appreciated, but not necessary. It's the principle more than the cost issue. I can pay the extra jingle.

Haha okay but if you ever wanna do something like that let me know!
Great idea, but same for me, principle of the matter. Plus I like to support my LGS
... And they have Tru Blood. That stuff is damn good. Especially with some Vodka...
