As I rebuild my GW deck I want to add an avacyn or a sigarda. Which seems like a better choice than the other. Also dumb question.. But when it says It can't make me sacrifice permanents, what exactly does that cover, like examples?
{Geth's Verdict}
{Barter in Blood}
{Sheoldred, Whispering One}
Why not both?

The most dangerous of all in my opinion {phyrexian obliterator}
I also say why not both...?
Hmm. I'd say Sigarda is a lot easier to cast.
Do both, you have green to mana ramp up to avacyn. So both wouldn't be a problem.
Both eventually, right now is more of a which do I get first as cash allows it.
Sigarda then. 5/5 for 5, flying hexproof. Better then Avacyn and more of a board impact.

More board impact than an 8/8 flying, vigilance, makes all your stuff indestructible? I'm not saying Avacyn is better, but I do think if you can land her on the table she's got a pretty big effect.
I suppose with a somberwald sage, avacyn would cost me the same as sigarda.

I was running a GW deck that was kind of aggro with some tokens thrown in. Sage really helped me and I was able to play things sooner or play more than one creature yet my friends kept saying it didn't work in my deck and to take it out..

Post what you have and let everyone decide
Well if you have 4 birds and 4 somberwaldos, then you could get either of them out turn 3 (t1: land, birds; t2: land, somberwald; t3: land, avacyn/sigarda). So I say get avacyn first.
You should really use the sample draw feature in the app btw. It is amazing to figure out what is practical to expect from any deck.
Somberwald would be amazing if
A) she didn't cost 3 mana
B) she wasn't a 0/1
I mean a 0/3 for 3 would be amazing I just see her as being too fragile.
Meh
3 mana is nothing with mana rampers. You can get them t2 a lot of times with them (but they do take up deck space).
Also, while a 0/1 is kind of fragile, it gives you 3 mana... 3 mana of ANY FREAKIN COLOR! :D
And anyways, it is not meant for attack or blocking. Most removal that hits a 0/1 could probably kill a 0/3 just as easily.
But if you really want to buff one up, there's always swords!

I can respect that.
I was just referring to taking 1 damage to kill her for 3 mana.
Great card just squishy
