If I have a {warstorm surge} in at and I ah a creature with say bloodthirst 6 will that creature receive the 6 +1+1 counters since when it enters the battlefield it does damage to target player equal to it's power? Just a thought cause I am about to build a red deck with limited burn spells.
The Bloodthirst ability (as on {Furyborn Hellkite}) affects how a creature enters the battlefield. {Warstorm Surge} will trigger when they enter, and when it resolves they will be on the battlefield with those counters. So, yeah, they work pretty well together. ðŸ'
But, you have to have dealt damage BEFORE the creature enters the battlefield. The damage from the surge won't let you add the counters because by then the creature has already entered the battlefield. ðŸ'Ž
