Notes: My idea for a standard mill deck that I might put together. What do ya'll think?
|
I think that most successful Mill decks don't actually mill people to death as a win condition. My "mill deck" has 2 mill cards in it, {Jace, Memory Adept} (x2) and {Nephalia Drownyard}, besides that it's a control deck that mills an army of tokens with {Undead Alchemist}.
I've tried all the mill stuff, all the gimmicks and gadgets, I've played against it too. It takes a long long time to get anything substantial going.
The deck could be good in two-headed giant. It just looks too slow. Creatures cost 2 mana or more, their abilities cost a lot, and you really have no way to keep anything off of you. When you're trying to mill someone to death, you're dealing with a 60 card deck, odds are you gotta get rid of 50 cards ASAP or spend your time waiting for land draws until you can win.
That makes sense thanks a lot
