So, {Riders of Gavony} gives humans you contr protection from creature type of your choice. The only thing is it doesn't have a clause stating that the effect goes away after Riders is removed from the battlefield. That means the effect stays, correct?

That would also mean the {Elesh Norn Grand Cenobite} would give your creatures +2/2 and opponents -1/1 once she enters and it will stay when she leaves.
Sorry but it is a static ability that is only good while on the BF. the protection leaves with the rider
Same for {phyrexian revoker}, right?
to clarify though it does not say remove the ability once riders leaves it is fully understood that the ability exists only while riders is on the battlefield.

It doesn't have to. That static ability is the ability of the card. If it doesn't exist, then it doesn't have the ability.
