I'm just wondering, are lands a colored permanent? Like a mountain being a red permanent, and if so, how do you determine non-basic land's color?
no, and a follow up of you dont have to worry then
the mana cost determines what color it is. Since lands dont have one they arent a color. Multicolored cards {Diregraf Captain}, are all those colors(in this case B/U).
